With That Moon Language

Admit something: Everyone you see, you say to them, "Love me."

Of course you do not do this out loud, otherwise someone would call the cops.

Still though, think about this, this great pull in us to connect. Why not become the one who lives with a full moon in each eye that is always saying, with that sweet moon language, What every other eye in this world is dying to hear?

-Hafiz

Hafiz is suggesting that we open our hearts to Love, being it, living it, radiating it to all who would receive it. This fits right in with my message this week, which is there is no one "out there" except us. We are so conditioned that we are a separate entity that this can be difficult to see. It looks like there are many others out there. There is me, and you, and him, and her, and it, and on one level that's all true. However when we take the trip beyond what the senses tell us, beyond our labeling and naming, love arises and we have those moments where we experience life as One.

I remember some years back, walking down the street, looking at strangers. Some days there would be lots of eye contact, friendly smiles, people nodding hello, and life seemed heavenly. Other days no one would make eye contact at all, and they all looked closed off and unavailable. I used to wonder what the difference was, why some days people were open and friendly and other days not. Was it some planetary influence or dark force that closed people down?

I finally noticed that it depended entirely on me, my mood of the moment. When I felt happy and was radiating positive energy, people responded in kind. When I was closed down, people also responded in kind. This was an amazing discovery. It woke me up to the Mirror Aspect of life. Life is our mirror. What we see is what we are, who we are being in the moment, no exceptions. It is a mirror because we are not separate from it at all. We are our world.

I learned from this to ask and answer questions like this: Max, do you want more love? Be more loving. Do you want more abundance? Recognize the abundance you are, be grateful, and be abundance. Do you want better health? Stop dwelling on ill health or the possibility. Put your focus on what is healthy and be grateful for that. These question and answer sessions changed my life and I became happier, more abundant and healthier.

I know people who read the newspaper every day and have health challenges. What is in the newspaper? Negative stories that generate negative vibrations, emotions, expectations and fears in our body/mind. These low vibrations attract just what we don't want to us. Like vibration attracts like vibration. It is the Law of Attraction.

We all want to be informed and there are many mysteries, lacks of information, where mind wants to know. Mind loves mysteries and wants to solve them. Newspapers and newscasts promise to inform us, to safeguard us, to fill in our lack of information, to clear up the mysteries. Do they do that? I don't think so. We can never know truth from the sensationalized sound bites and headlines designed to propagandize and get us to buy the paper or listen in at 10.

What would be a more positive, happier direction we could take? Instead of the newspaper, we might read something uplifting, like Rumi or Hafiz poems, a good novel or spiritual book. We might call someone we love or take up a hobby, like writing, or photography, or painting. Doing something creative, just for the love of it, will raise our vibration and then we will be attracting the positive things we want. It is just the way of it.

Thinking of you this day with great love in my heart.

Blessings.
